Who We Are


We have worked with many organisations both as a member of their leadership team, or as an advisor, and know that transforming your organisation is no longer a project or a once off initiative. In the new world of work, organisational change is a necessity if you want your organisation to differentiate from your competitors in a dynamic local and global marketplace, and at a minimum, to remain relevant in your industry.

Leaders of today have either led or witnessed large scale organisational, industry or market changes, and if not, will have been exposed to one before 2025. We are passionate about leader-led transformation and have worked individually and collectively with leadership teams in evolving their businesses. We have over 20 years’ experience in merger/ acquisitive changes, re-engineering and restructuring initiatives, new product/ service start-ups, and business turnarounds.

Liza Clay

Founder & CEO

Liza is a seasoned advisor and coach with a clinical psychology background and over 20 years in various advisory and global executive roles. As an entrepreneur, she started a boutique consulting company in 2002, establishing a brand for large scale HR and operational transformation, competing against the big 5 consulting practices in SA. Within Change-Worx, she established a market disruptive call centre excellence offering, taking it to market in 2010, and tripling the turnover in 2011. As a Global Change Director for SABMiller (ABInbev), she oversaw in excess of 350 projects across 32 geographies, in addition to playing a leadership role in the integration of the ABInbev and SABMiller organisations pre- and post- acquisition. More recently, Liza worked with an existing change management consultancy to transform it from a R7m revenue operation to a R40m people advisory practice.

Liza has an eye for organisational optimisation and rejuvenation and has worked with many leaders on their target operating model design, organisational development, leadership and culture programmes, as well as large scale transformations led by industry differentiation, turn-around agendas and digitalisation.
